Recreational vehicle (RV) owners love to spend time on the open road. One benefit to these vehicles is the large windshield and windows that let the driver and occupants have a good view of the scenery they pass while traveling. You will next see what is called a parting bead which is a small trim piece about 1/2 inch by 3/4 inch in size partially buried in the window casing. It separates the two sashes. Since your unit is sucking air in and filtering, it's a good idea to step outside now and then and wipe down the outside fins as well. Your unit should be turned off and unplugged during this part. It's a good idea to have your unit maintained by a service professional before cooling season starts every year. This can catch big problem before they start.

Different kinds of damage to a windscreen can have different consequences. If a pane of auto glass has been totally smashed or deeply cracked, it is most likely that a total replacement will be necessary. However, this kind of severe damage is actually quite uncommon. Typically, the windshield chip repair will have been subtly damaged a long time before it cracks or breaks. Many windshields are composed of two panes separated by an inner layer of plastic. Typically, if both panes are cracked, a replacement is necessary. Surface cracks which affect only the outer layer can be repaired quite easily.

Repeat the process for the opposite side. Set the sash aside making sure you know which is the top and the bottom sash. Place a wood block into the track opening and cut the card knot. The block will help catch the sash weight and allow you to pull it out of the pocket. Remove the pulleys. The pulleys and the weights will no longer be used.

And don't forget your basic holding costs. Holding costs are the gas and electric you use during the time you own the house along with any finance charges if you have any loans. Also don't forget the real estate commission you need to deduct from your selling price. And last, what about your profit? You must figure in your profit just like it was any other expense. If you are planning to make $25,000 or $50,000, you must include it with your estimate. After all, who is more important than you!
